Anti-scratch method for a windscreen of a vehicle, and windscreen wiper implementing said method

The method involves determining if a windscreen (5) of a vehicle (1) i.e. helicopter, is dried with the aid of a water sensor (70), when a manual operation of each wiper (10) is required. A washer fluid (20) such as water, is sprayed on the windscreen if the windscreen is dry, where the windscreen is arranged with the washer fluid. The wiper is utilized for sweeping the windscreen if the windscreen is wet without the need for utilizing the washer fluid. A sweeping rate of the windscreen wiper is regulated. An independent claim is also included for an aircraft.
