The device has a longitudinally displaceable shifter rod (3) for the adjustment of a dual-clutch transmission, where two piston portions (5) are arranged at opposite ends of the selector rod. A cylinder unit (2) receives the two piston portions, and forms cylinder chambers (4). An intermediate central region (10) is arranged with respect to the cylinder chambers, where an inner wall (11) of the cylinder unit is delimited by a projecting sealing element (6). The sealing element is arranged in a recess of the inner wall.
