The device (1) has pistons that are longitudinally moved for adjusting the transmission shift rod arranged at opposite ends of pistons and a cylinder device (4) that is formed with two portions for receiving the piston cylinder chambers. The cylinder chambers are connected to each other and are mutually spaced-apart with a base (7) of the cylinder main portion (8). The base has end receiving portions for arrangement of cylinder main portion. The shift rod is provided in the inner wall of base.
