Filter element

The filter element (10) has a filter body (12) in a concentric shape with a longitudinal axis, an open or closed end plate (16) arranged at a front side (15) and another end plate (18) arranged at the opposite front side (17). A support tube (14) is arranged between the two end plates concentrically about the longitudinal axis. One of the end plate has one or multiple support knobs (20) which are arranged circularly about the longitudinal axis in axially outward manner. An independent claim is included for a filter system with an inlet.
