The straddle carrier (1) has a first aggregate unit for generating primary electrical energy. A second organic rankine cycle (ORC) aggregate unit (9) is provided for generating secondary electrical energy using the waste heat produced during the generation of the primary electrical energy of the first aggregate unit. A heat exchanger is set for providing the waste heat of the first aggregate unit into the second ORC aggregate unit.
