The slat (10) has a base (14) and an add-on portion (16) that are mounted together by mechanical connection. The mechanical connection contains a holding element (22) at the two components base, add-on portion and a receptacle (24) for holding element. The receptacle has an insertion portion (34) into which the holding element is inserted in insertion direction and succeeding holding portion (36) in which the holding element is fixed. The holding element has a protruding holding portion (28) in which an undercut is provided.
