Driver assistance system and method

A driver assistance system (12) for a vehicle (10) includes a plurality of lights (20) linearly arranged substantially around an interior perimeter of the vehicle (10). A controller (16) is controllably coupled to the plurality of lights (20), such that the controller (16) is operable to control the plurality of lights (20). A hazard detection system is communicatively coupled to the controller (16). The controller (16) includes a non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions for causing the controller to illuminate at least one of the plurality of lights (20) corresponding to a location of a hazard detected by the hazard detection system
