An automotive vehicle (10) includes a driver analyzer (14) and a driver assistance system (12), both of which are coupled to a controller (16). The controller (16) includes a non-transitory storage medium storing instructions for causing the controller to determine a level of attentiveness of a driver of the automotive vehicle (10) and to adapt a response of the driver assistance system (12) in response to the determined level of attentiveness.
