Safety arrangement for a vehicle

The present disclosure relates to a safety arrangement (23, 45, 51) for a vehicle (21). The safety arrangement (23, 45, 51) comprises a bonnet (25, 25', 25") and at least one support member (41, 53). In case of a collision between the vehicle (21) and a large animal (3), the bonnet (25, 25', 25") is supported from beneath by the at least one support member (41, 53) in at least a rear central portion (44e), such that the bonnet (25, 25', 25") forms a ramp for the large animal (3), the ramp being adapted to direct the large animal (3) over a windscreen (35) and/or a roof structure (33) of the vehicle (21). The disclosure further relates to a vehicle (21) with the above safety arrangement (23, 45, 51), a use of a bonnet (25, 25', 25") to form a ramp for a large animal (3) and a method of mitigating the consequences of a collision between a vehicle (21) and a large animal (3).
