Safety arrangement for a vehicle

The present invention relates to a safety arrangement for a vehicle (1) having a bonnet (3) being connected to the vehicle (1) by hinges (7), the safety arrangement comprising - a raising member (19), adapted to raise the bonnet (3) in case of a collision with a pedestrian, and - a catch member (21) adapted to catch the bonnet (3) so that it does not rise beyond a predetermined distance, wherein the catch member (21) is separate from the raising member (19) and located at a distance from the hinges (7) of the bonnet (3).
