The carriage (10) has a carriage body (20) including two guide portions (30) to be extended parallel with each other and guiding engagement with guide sections (130) of an elevation adjustment device (100). The carriage body comprises a spindle aperture (22) with an internal thread (24) for threaded engagement with a drive spindle (110) and a fastening interface (40) for fastening of a guide bar for a vehicle safety belt. The guide portions, the spindle aperture and the fastening interface are integrally formed with the carriage body as a single-piece. The carriage body is designed as a cold flow press component. An independent claim is also included for an elevation adjustment device.
