Method for manufacturing a plastic component

The method involves arranging carrier layer (41) and decorative layer (42) between two mold halves (9,10) of injection mold arranged in cavity. A heated plasticized polymer composition is injected into the injection mold, and pressurized between the mold halves after closing the mold halves. The injected polymer composition is cooled for formation of plastic component with decorative layer. The formed plastic component is peeled off from the injection mold after opening the mold halves. An independent claim is included for an injection molding tool.
