A coupling device (20) for connecting an electrical component (3) to a towing hook (11), the towing hook (11). The coupling device (20) is adapted to be detachably connected to the ball (16) of the towing hook (11) and to be detachably connected, directly or indirectly, a neck portion (14) of the towing hook (11).
