A ball portion of a towing hook arrangement for a vehicle

The present invention relates to a ball portion (20) adapted to form a part of a ball and socket joint (30) of a towing hook arrangement (10) for a vehicle. The invention also relates to a towing hook comprising such ball portion. The towing hook (11) can be displaced between a towing position and a retracted position when mounted on the vehicle. The ball portion (20) is formed by at least a first and a second component (51, 52, 53). The ball portion (20) of the towing hook arrangement (10) can be adapted to different vehicles, or vehicle models, by replacing one or more of the components, or by configuring at least one of the components, e.g. by adding a suitable function or feature.
