Mirror head, in particular for an exterior vehicle mirror

The mirror head is mounted on a mirror holder of a vehicle outer surface by using a connection element. A mirror housing has a mirror plane (22), where the mirror housing and the connecting element are constructed in a single piece as an integral component. The integral component is made of fiber-reinforced plastic and has an injection molded unit. The mirror pane is mounted on a glass carrier plate (20) to form a glazing unit (18). A connection region has mounting elements, which mount the glazing unit on the integral component.
