The commercial vehicle structure has a height adjustable roof and a rear portal which comprises a roof beam (10) and a door leaf. The door leaf lies at an outer side (11) of the roof beam in a closed condition and comprises a movable locking element. The outer side of the roof beam comprises a recess for the locking element, in which a retaining rod (13) is arranged. The locking element engages in form-fit manner in the retaining rod for locking the rear portal. The recess has a height which corresponds or is equal to the sum of the adjustment of the height adjustable roof and the lock bar height of the locking element.
