Visualization system for aircraft and corresponding method

The system (10) has an assembly (38) for dynamic generation of synthetic images. A management assembly (42) manages a graphical interface of a display (36), so as to control the display of the synthetic images on a region (60) of the display in certain configuration changes of an aircraft, and on another region (64) of the display defined by an edge (62) free of synthetic representation of a terrain surface. The management assembly includes a delimitation unit (70) to dynamically calculate the position of the edge in accordance with a visibility distance obtained with respect to the aircraft. An independent claim is also included for a method for visualization in an aircraft.
