Method for producing a torsion profile

The method involves providing a workpiece in the form of a metal strip, a plate or planar element. A large surface of workpiece made of steel, aluminum or non-ferrous metal is rested against a molding die portion. The workpiece is closed with joining process to form a closed cross-section region. The cold pre-forming process of the workpiece is performed. The workpiece is heated to preset temperature. The hot workpiece is formed with cooled mold portion. The mold form is supported only against specific portion of workpiece. The final mold form is obtained.
