The converter has an output circuit including an output storage capacitor (C1S), which is connected parallel to a voltage output (UOUT). A pole of a storage throttle (DRP1) forms a common electrical connection together with another pole of another storage throttle (DRP2). The storage throttles include an inductive coupling by a common magnetic core as a flow concentrator (FK), where a voltage at the former storage throttle is added with a voltage at the latter storage throttle. A semiconductor element (HB1) includes a switch, which is arranged in a parallel connection to a diode (D1S).
