An all-solid-state cell (10) has a positive electrode layer (14) containing a positive electrode active material (12), a solid electrolyte layer (16) containing a lithium ion conducting material, and a negative electrode layer (20) containing a negative electrode active material (18). The negative electrode active material (18) in the negative electrode layer (20) contains a plurality of cylindrical carbon nanotube molecules (28), and the axes of the carbon nanotube molecules (28) are oriented in a predetermined direction.
