An all-solid-state battery containing a power generating element includes: a positive electrode including a positive electrode active material layer containing a positive electrode active material; a negative electrode including a negative electrode current collector in which lithium metal is deposited on the negative electrode current collector during charging; a solid electrolyte layer that is interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode and contains a solid electrolyte; and a negative electrode intermediate layer which is present adjacent to a surface of the solid electrolyte layer on the negative electrode current collector side and contains at least one selected from the group consisting of a metal material that can be alloyed with lithium and a carbon material that can absorb lithium ions; and a binder; wherein a porosity of the negative electrode intermediate layer is 10% or more and 70% or less.
