Cantilever lift

The lift (12) has a lifting mechanism (13) and a loading platform (15), where a pylon (14) is associated with the mechanism for fastening the mechanism at a vehicle i.e. lorry (10). A front end of the pylon is lockable by a sealing cap (18). A cover of a housing is assigned to the sealing cap for covering a control unit in the housing. Receptacles are provided in the housing for connection of the control unit with spacers. The control unit and/or the receptacles are arranged in the cover of the housing.
