Power tool having a brake system

The brushcutter (1) has a combustion engine that drives a work tool (5). A start enrichment unit is provided for a combustion engine and a brake arrangement is configured for the work tool. An operating mode selector is configured to actuate the start enrichment unit. The start enrichment unit having a start position is configured to actuate the brake arrangement in start position. The brake arrangement is a differential band brake which has a brake drum and brake band having first and second end regions.
