Monitoring System for a Vehicle

The invention relates to a monitoring system for a vehicle. A camera is mounted on the exterior of the vehicle. A display device is mounted in an interior space of the vehicle. A control device presents an image scanned by means of the camera on the display device. The display device comprises a screen and a reflective element that presents to a person on-board the vehicle an image that appears at a point which intersects an optical axis of the camera.
