Actuation system for a trailer coupling of a motor vehicle

The operating system has ball neck (5) which is held on ball neck bearing head (3). The ball neck bearing head is secured with locking mechanism (8) for setting the ball neck in operative position and inoperative position. The locking mechanism is provided with an axially movable lock bolt (7) mounted in the ball neck bearing head. A control flow effecting transmission system is provided between the locking mechanism and pivot mechanism (13), which is influenced by electric motor in such a way that the locking mechanism and pivot mechanism are activated subsequently.
