Sensor assembly comprising a flat vehicle component and an ultrasound sensor

The sensor assembly (10) comprises a two-dimensional vehicle component (12) and an ultrasonic sensor (20). The ultrasonic sensor comprises a diaphragm (28) which is detachably connected to vehicle component. The vehicle component has reduced material thickness in the area of ultrasonic sensor. The vehicle component is provided with an acoustic coupling plate (14) which is arranged opposite to ultrasonic sensor and is in punctiformly contact with diaphragm.
