Method for assistance in driving a hybrid vehicle

The method involves supplying a torque to wheels (10) of a hybrid vehicle by an electric drive machine (8) using energy that is stored in batteries (4). A battery life extension module (6) is powered by a power supply (2). Consumption patterns of two different energies are realized from a remaining power level in the power supply and a charging level of the batteries. A recommended maximum power is displayed to the driver to continue a travel to ensure that the batteries are not empty before the power supply. Recommended maximum speed of the vehicle is displayed. An independent claim is also included for a hybrid vehicle.
