Charging cable and charging system for electric vehicles

The charging cable (1,1') has a plug connector (4), which is connected with another plug connector (5) at a charging station (2). A coding (C) is arranged in the former plug connector, and is read out by the charging station. The coding holds the technical information of charged batteries (3,3'). A third plug connector (6) of the charging cable is connected with a fourth plug connector (7), such as a socket, at the battery of an electric vehicle. A Radio-frequency identification-chip is arranged in the former plug connector. An independent claim is included for a charging system, which has public charging station with an adjustable device.
