Ignition cable for high mechanical and/or thermal loads
DRIVE
April 17, 2013
The cable has an electric conductor (20) i.e. wire, connecting two ends, which electrically contact the ignition cable in an ignition circuit. A cover surrounds the electric conductor, and is formed in layers (21, 24), where one of the layers is made of mica and the other layer surrounding the former layer is made of glass fibers, stainless steel mesh, steel wire braided fabric, stainless steel corrugated pipe or an aramid braid. The electric conductor is made of stainless steel strand, where an end of the electric conductor comprises a cable shoe (14).
