Charging infrastructure for electric vehicles

The charging structure has a control device which communicates with an electric car. A charging cable has an electrical plug for connection to an electrical power grid. The electrical plug has a temperature sensor that is communicated with a control device. The temperature sensor provides signal to the electric car, when specific temperature is reached in the electric plug so that the charging current is reduced. An independent claim is included for a method for charging electric car.
