Connection between a shaft and a collar component and method for producing the connection

The method involves firmly connecting a connector with both a hub component i.e. pinion (1), and a shaft (3). The connector is made of metal, and the hub component and the shaft are made of different materials e.g. ceramics and steel. The hub component is soldered with the connector. The shaft is welded with the connector by laser welding. The connector is designed as a radial hollow cylindrical case (6), where length of the hollow cylindrical case corresponds to an axial length of the pinion. The hub component is formed of zirconium oxide. An independent claim is also included for an electrical small drive.
