Rim with a disk of a wheel made from fibre reinforced plastics and attachment means

The rim (1) has a wheel disk (3) made of composite material, and an attaching unit i.e. annular spring washer (7), for fastening the disk at a wheel hub (5) of a vehicle. The disk comprises an aperture (8) for retaining the hub, where the aperture is formed with a conical centering surface (9) for a corresponding seat of the attaching unit. Reinforcement fibers of the composite material are arranged in planar fiber layers (10) that are partially arranged in an edge area (12) of the aperture perpendicular to the centering surface. A metallic insert is provided in the edge area.
