The wheel (1) has a hub (30) and a rim (2) providing spoke holes and spoke systems for connecting the hub with the rim. The reinforcing unit comprises a convex inner rim contact surface for resting on a concave orientation area of the rim. The reinforcing unit comprises a concave outside surface at which a nipple accommodation is provided at a depression that comprises a concave nipple contact surface with a narrower curvature to accommodate a matched convex supporting area of the spoke nipple.
