The carburetor has a housing (1), a support bearing (2) and an additional spring (3), where the support bearing and the additional spring are arranged in the housing. The housing is made of a polymeric material and has a support ring (4) and a receiver (5) for the additional spring. The receiver for the additional spring is partially enclosed on its outer peripheral side. The receiver is partially enclosed by the support ring. The support ring encloses the receiver in a force-fit and form-fit manner.
