Clutch assembly and method for controlling it
DRIVE
March 13, 2013
The clutch assembly (34) has actuators (40,42) for respectively actuating two clutches (36,38) from an open position to a closed position. A locking unit (44) is arranged for locking one clutch (38) in the closed position. The clutch (36) is not locked in the closed position, so that the actuator (40) is supplied with energy for holding the clutch (36) in the closed position. A mechanical spring assembly (46) is arranged between the locking unit and the clutch (38). Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a drive train; and (2) a method for actuating clutch assembly.
