Bicycle component and method for fitting a component

The bicycle component (1) e.g. rear hub (3) has a hub housing (6) comprising a hub axle (5). Several bearings (7) are provided in hub housing and are rotated relative to hub axle. A hub cover (8) is attached to hub housing, for sealing hub housing. The holding units (14) are arranged to hold the hub cover with respect to hub housing. An independent claim is included for method for mounting bicycle component.
