Vibration mount for an exhaust system in a motor vehicle

The vibration bearing (10) has a radially expanded elastic damping element (12) and a pre-tensioning unit (14) compressing the damping element. The damping element is assigned a fastening area (16) and the pre-tensioning unit is assigned another fastening area (18). The pre-tensioning unit is formed such that it compresses the elastic damping element simultaneously in radial and in axial deflecting directions. The elastic damping element is formed of elastomer material. The pre-tensioning unit has two span caps attached to the elastic damping element.
