Continuously variable transmission (1000- Fig.17 ) with a first (1028- Fig.17 ) and a second (1030- Fig.17 ) carrier member which are relatively rotational to each other. The transmission ratio is changed by titling the axles of the traction planets (1024- Fig.17 ), which is caused by a relative rotation between the first and second carrier members (1028, 1030). The relative rotation is imparted by a skew actuator (16- Fig.16 ; 3005- Fig.30 ) via e.g. a clevis (43- Fig.16 ) or e.g. via a skew driver (3007- Fig.30 , 31 ) rotating the first carrier member in opposite direction to he second carrier member.
