Wiper blade with renewable wiper edge

The wiper rubber (10) has a base section (12) and a lip section (13) which comprises a wiping edge (14). The lip section comprises a material weakening (15) along a longitudinal axis (16) of the wiper rubber above the wiper edge. The material weakening is designed such that the wiping edge is separable by tearing along the material weakening from the wiper rubber to form a new wiper edge (17). The wiper rubber is formed of elastomer material. The material weakening is an incision, a point- or slit-shaped perforation or a notch.
