Wiper blade of the flat-blade type

The blade has a longitudinal orientation support housing comprising a lower support unit for supporting a wiping blade and a tubular body of a longitudinal axis. A monoblock element (13) connects the blade with a driving arm assembled on the housing. A single transversal internal pin (133) is carried by one of two side legs (130) to cooperate with a notch (120) on a vertebra (12) i.e. structure element. The vertebra is immobilized in its final indexed position by welding a material of the internal pin in the notch. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a blade of a windscreen wiper.
