Vehicle for public transport with sound module

The vehicle (10) has a door area (11) with movably driven doors (12, 12'), and speakers (20, 20', 20'') attached in the door area. The speakers stand in connection with a control unit (30) that is integrated in a door controller of the doors. The control unit is formed for acoustic playback of a sound element e.g. sound, sound sequence and/or recorded announcement, over the speakers. The speakers are integrated into a component e.g. door leaf, of the vehicle such that the component partially operates as resonance bodies during acoustic playback of the sound element by the speakers.
