METHOD FOR PARTICULATE FILTER REGENERATION, REGENERATION SYSTEM FOR IMPLEMENTING SAID METHOD AND AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE EQUIPPED WITH SAID SYSTEM

The method involves regenerating a particle filter with additivation of an additive in fuel supplied to a diesel engine (2) by an additivation device (21) to reduce temperature of exhaust gases necessary to regeneration of the particle filter. A state of the additivation device is estimated. Fuel injection in the diesel engine is modified when the additivation device is in a failing state. A user is warned if the additivation device is in the failing state. The additivation device is repaired, and engine oil is drained. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for regenerating a particle filter integrated in an exhaust line of a diesel engine of a car (2) a car.
