An electrode assembly is a stacked structure. The electrode assembly includes a first electrode plate group and a second electrode plate group stacked up. A dimension of the first electrode plate group along the first direction is smaller than a dimension of the second electrode plate group along the first direction. A first step is formed at a minimum of one end of the electrode assembly along the first direction. A second step corresponding to the first step is formed on the shell.
