The battery includes a housing, an electrode assembly, a first negative terminal, and a second negative terminal. The electrode assembly is accommodated in the housing. The electrode assembly includes a first stack and a second stack. The first stack includes a first negative electrode plate, a first separator, and a first positive electrode plate stacked along a thickness direction of the electrode assembly. The second stack includes a second negative electrode plate, a second separator, and a second positive electrode plate stacked along the thickness direction of the electrode assembly. The first negative electrode plate includes a first negative active material layer containing a silicon-based material. The silicon-based material is at least one of silicon, a silicon-carbon composite, or a silicon-oxygen composite. The second negative electrode plate includes a second negative active material layer containing graphite. The first negative terminal is electrically connected to the first negative electrode plate.
