The wiper blade device has a spring rail (12) that includes a spring (14) which is partially formed of a composite fiber material, and is provided to transfer the wiping force to the wiper blade assembly (10). The spring rail includes a spring housing (16) which partially encloses the spring. The spring housing is provided with extruded section made of aluminum.
