Wiper unit for a vehicle

The windscreen wiper unit has a wiper blade carrier (1) holding a blade (12) with a yielding wiping element (11). The wiper blade carrier has at least one wall sector, at least parts of which conduct heat, and which is connected to the wiping element and/or the wiper blade to conduct or transfer heat. A coolant line (9) of the coolant circuit of the vehicle engine is laid a long the wall sector.
