The method involves mechanically actuating a screw-locking device (48) through a hydraulic system (47). A sensor (60) is arranged at an output of a pressurizing device (56) of a hydraulic circuit for detecting a pressure measurement (M).The pressure measurement is transmitted to a control unit (34) of an electric motor (10) in a form of an electric voltage signal. The reference of an electric braking torque is proportional to the electric voltage signal derived from the sensor. The proportionality factor between the output voltage of the sensor and the reference is set in the control unit.
