Battery module

A battery module including a first housing and a second housing, the first housing and the second housing each retaining a plurality of rechargeable batteries electrically connected to each other, the second housing being stacked on the first housing, and at least one of the rechargeable batteries retained by the second housing being coupled with at least one of the rechargeable batteries retained by the first housing; and a connecting member electrically connecting electrode terminals of the at least one rechargeable battery retained by the first housing and the at least one rechargeable battery retained by the second housing.
