The system comprises a battery tray (1) and a trough holder (2) for the assembly of battery tray in a battery box of the wind turbine. The trough holder has a bearing face (3) by which the battery tray is placed on the holder. The trough holder has a form-fitting receiving unit (4). A fastener (5) is arranged for connecting the second side of battery tray with the holder, such that the second side of the battery tray is pre-aligned with respect to the fastener, when the battery tray is in the mounting position.
