Source
The bearing for a vibration damper (1) has a rotational face on the damper side interacting with a mating surface on the vehicle side especially during an assembly sequence of the damper in a receiving opening of the vehicle. The bearing has a bearing cap (21) which has the rotational face and which interacts with the whole bearing in a torque transmitting manner. The bearing (13) has retaining surfaces which secure the vibration damper against falling out of the vehicle independently of connecting means.
